Spain is officially entering its main winter sales season, Rebajas 2026. The formal start date is January 7, right after Three Kings’ Day, but in practice the season begins earlier — online.
Inditex (Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, among others), El Corte Inglés, and other retailers have already launched their online sales.
According to the consumer association ASESCON, the average budget for the sales period will reach €197 per person, €16 more than last year.
Spending patterns remain conservative: 57% will go to clothing, while 21% will be spent on footwear and accessories.
At the same time, seasonal promotions are starting in the transport sector:

- Iberia — domestic flights from €21, along with discounts on international routes
- Vueling — updated promotional fares on selected routes
- Renfe — new travel passes with a 50% discount (Pase Vía) for regular journeys between cities on AVANT / Media Distancia trains
