As of April 1, 2025, the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha has officially joined the list of Spanish regions offering a zero social security contribution scheme for newly registered self-employed workers (autónomos).

1st year: standard €80/month fee fully covered

2nd year: also subsidised by the regional government

Total savings: €960 per year

The measure applies retroactively to those who registered as autónomos on or after July 1, 2024, and is valid until July 15, 2025.

Additional incentives:

€3,000 support at the start of professional activity

€2,000 extra for women, young people, and professionals in rural areas

Similar schemes have already been introduced in Madrid, Andalusia, Aragon, and Galicia.
