Iberia Express airline celebrates its 14th anniversary with flight discounts

The Spanish low-cost carrier Iberia Express is celebrating its fourteenth anniversary. To mark the occasion, the airline is offering passengers discounts of up to 30% on flights and is holding a draw for a 1,400 euro voucher on its social media.

Unlike the classic flagship Iberia, which provides full-cycle service, Iberia Express operates as a hybrid low-cost carrier. Its main task is to provide affordable flights across Europe and deliver passengers to Madrid to connect with the parent company's transatlantic flights.

The third member of the aviation holding, Vueling, is based in Barcelona and operates on a strict low-cost model. It offers budget tickets within Europe, but requires additional payment for any basic options, including carry-on baggage.
