Carrefour in Spain has launched the Wedding Shoot initiative — a contest where couples can take their wedding photos right inside a hypermarket.
The winners will receive a photoshoot by renowned fashion and portrait photographer Assiyah Alcázar.
The idea behind the project is to present the hypermarket not only as a place for shopping, but also as a lively space for unexpected memories.
According to the ANGED Association, there are 495 hypermarkets in Spain, accounting for around 14% of the retail market — the hypermarket format continues to maintain a strong presence in the country’s retail sector.
